Recession

So, it seems as if we here in southern California are officially in a recession. We’re in this together, folks.

Stargone Windshield Repair has been a part of the Inland Empire community for over twenty years. We’ve been here in the good times and the not-so-good times. The businesses and the individuals in our great inland cities have supported us as we have striven to provide the absolute best windshield repair service humanly possible.

And now, all of us are feeling the economic pinch. If nothing else, the prices at the gas pump are causing us to shift spending. For the fortunate ones, that’s the only effect. For others, the recession has caused more dire consequences. Job loss, or loss of our home.

Our Response

What can Stargone Windshield Repair do about the recession? On a macro scale, we’re just a tiny little mom and pop business, nothing we do can effect the recession. However, on a micro scale, we CAN help our tiny little sphere of influence. We can stay positive, we can be thankful for the good things in our lives, and we can make windshield repair more affordable than ever for our customers.

A True Story

Why are we doing this? Let me put it this way. A few days ago a man called to make an appointment to have us come to his home to repair his daughter’s windshield. A little while later the daughter phoned us to cancel the appointment. “I have to buy gas. I’m a college student. I can’t afford getting my windshield fixed.”

I explained to her that if the damage spreads she will end up paying much more for a new windshield. Didn’t matter. She had to buy gas and would take the risk of not repairing.

That made me stop and think about what we might be able to do, and that’s when I came up with this plan. Of course, this is partially selfish. I’m hoping to generate more business, but in doing so, we will be providing more high quality windshield repairs to our customers, instead of having them go to our less quality-conscious competition. So this is a win-win solution for you and us.

The Bottom Line

For the duration of this recession, Stargone Windshield Repair is dropping our retail prices by twenty percent. In dollars and cents, that’s a drop from $59.95 for our basic repair, to $47.96.

You will still get the same superior windshield repair you have come to expect, and you will save money, too.

This discount will remain in effect until the recession is officially behind us. We honestly cannot afford to keep the prices at this level forever, but because the Inland Empire has supported us for these past twenty years, we feel a responsibility to do what we can to make a difference in whatever way possible.
